- You call, text, or send the quote. A photo of the paperwork texted to (661) 374-0624 works fine, and Mike reads those personally. You can also just tell us what they said.
- We look at the system, not the paperwork. A technician who earns no commission checks what is actually failing. About 6 in 10 times, the honest answer is a repair with a published flat price, not a replacement.
- You get a written verdict. If it really is done, you get our exact install quote from the published ranges. If their quote was fair, we say so in writing, and you can sign it with a clear conscience. Either way you now have two professional opinions instead of one salesman's.

Compare it against published numbers. Our install ranges are on this page and on the services pages, the same for every customer: AC systems $6,800 to $9,400 depending on tier, gas furnaces $4,400 to $7,800, heat pumps $9,800 to $14,200, mini-splits from $3,900. A quote far outside those ranges is not automatically a scam, since homes and equipment differ, but it is a very good reason to get a free second look before signing.
Should I get a second opinion before replacing my HVAC system?
On a four- or five-figure decision, almost always. About 6 in 10 systems we are asked to replace turn out to need a repair instead, most often a specific failed part with a published flat price. A second opinion costs nothing here, comes in writing, and if the original quote is fair we will say exactly that.
What does the second opinion cost?
Nothing. Replacement evaluations and install quotes are free visits. The $89 diagnostic only applies when we diagnose a repair, and it is waived when you book that repair with us.
What if your second opinion agrees with the other company?
Then we tell you their diagnosis was right, in writing, and you can proceed with whoever you trust most on price and workmanship. Our technicians earn no commission, so nobody here is paid to find a different answer. Sometimes the honest second opinion is that the first opinion was correct.
