First, the ag dust: table grape and almond operations surround the city, and that dust loads your filters and mats your condenser coil noticeably faster than in metro Bakersfield, so coil cleaning and filter matching matter more here, not less. Second, the housing. If you are near downtown, you are probably fighting aging ducts and undersized returns; if you are in the newer east-side subdivisions, your builder-grade system was likely oversized on day one.
